After two hits in South Korea and Singapore, this Italian restaurant opened their first outlet at Grand Indonesia on April 2011. Koreans are fond of garlic, that’s why these Italian foods are modified using garlic as their main ingredient. In terms of menu, you should expect “garlic-licious” menu that made Mad for Garlic a household name in Korea. Their specialties are the Dracula Killer, a soft garlic bread served with garlic cooked in olive oil and anchovies; Garlic Snowing Pizza, a special sweet garlic pizza topped with shrimp and pineapple slices; Garlic For You, Australian tenderloin steak filled with garlic preserved in special ‘Mad for Garlic’ sauce; and their Seafood Pasta. To quench your thirst, order their refreshing Yujaade, Korean orange soda drink with a twist of honey. To top off your perfect dining experience, order their Garlic Ice Cream, vanilla ice cream with a hint of garlic after taste covered in chocolate sauce. These delicacies will be so garlicky you might scare off Vampires, but no worries, it’s not gonna keep you off your friends.
